This tutorial will provide the attendees with an overview of the FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperable Resources) standard: the characteristics and contents of the core FHIR information models (resources); the various exchange paradigms (documents, messages, real time APIs); profiling of FHIR artifacts, as well as usage examples (e.g. SMART on FHIR, CDS Hooks). The aim is to provide the attendees with sufficient knowledge to help their organization to determine if, when, where and how they might use the FHIR standard.
